Like every year, British Post Offices have published the annual “City Costs Barometer“, presenting the cheapest cities in Europe to do a two-day getaway or spend a wonderful weekend.
The survey evaluated 36 European cities based on 12 criteria: the total cost of a three-course meal (along with a bottle of wine for two people), 2 nights accommodation in a 3-Star Hotel in city center, ticket prices and sightseeing, coffee, beer, etc.
Unfortunately, the airline tickets price of hasn’t been calculated because it’s constantly changing. Price evaluation and recording took place at the exchange rates prevailing on March 20, 2017. The holiday packages prices were provided by Travel Agencies and online research.
So, these are the 10 cheapest cities in Europe to spend an unforgettable weekend getaway:
Coffee-beer-wine (Respectively): € 2.45 – € 4.92 – € 4.71
